Dan & Kathy

The bride wanted to ensure her future husband’s interests were reflected in their wedding celebration weekend and she created a surprise rehearsal dinner that was "all about the groom" and his favorite hobby, woodworking. From invitations to centerpieces the event was completely “constructed.” 2x4s were drilled to fit tea lights and adorned the long king’s tables as stacks of wood were piled to create a stand for industrial stainless steel initials K&D. Guest’s place cards were nailed to blocks of wood while a 2x4 shaped groom’s cake sat on a miter saw and was so realistic and convincing it prompted one guest to say, “I smell cake, but I don’t see it!”
