With Yosemite being the destination for Laurel & Doug’s wedding it was evident to incorporate the spirit and natural beauty of the location into the décor of their rehearsal dinner. Yosemite’s Mariposa Grove became the inspiration for the table décor as moss colored crushed velvet tablecloths adorned the tables. A mini redwood grove sprang to life in the centerpieces as redwood bark containers held pine saplings, rocks, mushrooms, wildflowers and moss which created the look of a forest floor. The beauty and splendor of Half Dome could be seen through ceiling windows, and its likeliness was recreated in the groom’s cake that the guests admired and enjoyed. The rehearsal dinner not only showcased the beauty of the couple being celebrated but the magnificent location as well!
